IT’S BASEBALL SEASON; BATTER-UP!

Potente, Business Lawyer and Company Formation

At POTENTE we’re excited for our favorite season: baseball season!

Many of the readers of this blog know that we’re quite the fans of baseball and our “local nine,” the Padres. In fact, we put our money where our mouth is; our firm is a proud season ticket holder of the Padres and we look forward to another season. It seems that the easy, and “hip” thing to do in our San Diego sports society is to rip or complain about our local sports teams. We feel quite differently.

Here are some reasons why we think one of the hippest things in San Diego is indeed the Padres Baseball Club:

  1. New ownership led by local business icon Ron Fowler and the cherished O’Mally baseball family;
  2. Awesome young talent (Headley, Gyorko, Grandal, Cabrera, Alonso, Cashner, etc…);
  3. Bud Black!!!!!;
  4. The amazing customer service individuals who provide support to season ticket holders and anyone else who attends a Padres game;
  5. Petco Park and its amazingly cool vibe;
  6. Pre-gaming at one of the Gaslamp’s amazing (and plentiful) bars and restaurants;
  7. Post-gaming at one the Gaslamp’s amazing (and plentiful) bars and restaurants; and
  8. Nothing beats a beautiful afternoon under the bright San Diego sun, a cold local micro-brew in hand, and watching the Padres take it to another opponent!!

We hope to see you out there this year– we’re at almost every game!
