Pete is the President and Managing Partner of POTENTE. He leads a team of attorneys and professionals dedicated to serving businesses and investors around the world.
Through his leadership, Pete has advised companies and investors from more than 20 countries seeking to establish or expand their financial and operational presence in North America. In addition to dividing his time between the firm’s offices in Los Angeles and San Diego, he frequently travels throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada, and the Caribbean to meet client needs. Pete also regularly visits clients and colleagues in Japan, the United Kingdom, Europe, and other key markets within POTENTE’s global client portfolio.
Pete believes that building strong, meaningful client relationships requires investing quality time in person at the client’s location, and he remains deeply committed to this hands-on approach.
Pete and the firm have served as general counsel and strategic consultants to companies and investors across a wide range of industries, including hospitality (restaurants and hotels), media and entertainment, retail and fashion, commercial real estate, industrial design and manufacturing, cosmetics, and many others.
Pete earned his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University, where he majored in Finance and minored in Spanish. He received his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in San Diego.
In his spare time, Pete enjoys running, hiking, cooking, attending live concerts, and traveling the world.
